Reported attempting to drive on access road which unbeknownst to the driver had been removed. Driver became stuck in the mud behind the 29w100 block of Warrenville Rd.

Resident of the 3s400 block of Winfield Rd. requested a standby to retrieve items from former residence.  Officers assisted subject’s friend in picking up the items.

Canine Duties

R/O and Bandit assisted the DEA with a drug sniff of suspect vehicle in Addison.

Domestic Trouble

Resident of the 2s600 block of Pierre Curie reported known subject was upset and breaking complainant’s belongings. R/O spoke with subject, nothing had been broken and argument was verbal only.

Reported a loud argument on the 2s600 block of Rt. 59. R/O spoke with both parties and the argument was verbal only.

Resident of the 29w400 block of Candlewood reported co-parent of child was returning child after visitation and threw a glove, hitting complainant in the eye. No visible signs of injury were observed. R/O spoke with other party who stated complainant was just trying to cause problems due to an ongoing custody dispute.

Resident of the 3s200 block of Blackthorn reported resident of home, who had earlier been kicked out, had returned and was trying to break the door down. The subject left the area prior to police arriving and police were unable to locate subject.

Reported a physical domestic on the 30w100 block of Lindenwood. R/O spoke with both parties who related any physical contact was accidental and would not provide any information. No injuries were observed.

Resident of the 30700 block of Village Green Blvd. reported window of vehicle had been broken.

Reported known subject left an unwanted box for complainant at complainant’s work located on the 29w100 block of Butterfield Rd. R/O spoke with subject and advised subject to stop all contact with complainant.

Resident of the 29w500 block of Country Ridge reported subjects were threatening family member. R/O attempted to speak w/family member but subject refused to make a complaint and hung up on R/O.  Complainant related a discussion would take place with family member and they would return later.

Resident of the 29w500 block of Winchester reported several pieces of jewelry missing from residence in the last 6 months.

Reported known subject took vehicle without permission from parking lot on the 28300 block of Dodge Dr. Complainant was not sure of any vehicle information or who the vehicle’s registered owner was. Complainant will need to provide proof of ownership for an investigation to proceed.

Resident of the 31600 block of Village Green Blvd. reported observing 4 subjects in clubhouse that were not residents. While waiting for police to arrive complainant observed a known M/W subject emerge from bushes. Complainant advised subject was a peeping tom who had been evicted from property. No window was near the area where subject came from; complainant just wanted the incident documented.

Reported family member residing on the 29w500 block of Country Ridge Dr. transferred a prescription belonging to complainant and complainant was now unable to obtain medication. Family member related permission was given for prescription to be transferred.

Resident of the 3s600 block of Behr’s Circle reported observing two suspicious subjects in driveway of neighbor’s house. Subjects left in a vehicle.  After stopping vehicle it was determined subjects were okay to be there.

While conducting an arson investigation on the 3s000 block of Rt 59 R/O observed a suspicious vehicle pull up to business in front of where arson occurred. JUVENILE subjects appeared nervous and kept looking at police. Parents of each JUVENILE were notified and informed of JUVENILES where-a-bouts. One JUVENILE was picked up by parent and 2 were transported home by police. 

Criminal Damage

Resident of the 3s300 block of Curtis reported unknown offender broke taillight of vehicle.

Resident of the 30w000 block of Maplewood Ct. reported unknown offender broke front window to residence.

Resident of the 30w200 block of Mack Rd. reported process server caused damage to door when attempting to serve complainant with papers. The process server related he rang the doorbell several times and knocked but not unreasonably hard.

While on patrol behind the 2s700 block of Rt 59 Officer observed object burning under graffiti which had been spray painted on building. R/O located a glass bottle with paper coming from neck of bottle. Bottle smelled of gasoline. The bottle appeared to have been thrown at the wall having a blackened section under the graffiti.

Identity Theft/Fraud

Resident of the 29w500 block of Batavia reported receiving a letter from the US Postal Inspection and US Department of Justice relating complainant could be a victim of identity theft.  Subject was advised to make police report by credit bureau.

Employee and business located on the 28300 block of Diehl Rd. reported receiving counterfeit money.

Employee of business on the 4200 block of Winfield Rd. reported fraudulent activity of company credit card that had been cancelled.

Reported fraudulent activity had occurred on bank account after account had been used from business located on the 3s500 block of Winfield Rd.

Employee from business on the 4600 block of Winfield Rd. reported known subject had forged someone’s name on loan documents for construction loan. Construction project had not been completed and payments on the loan were no longer being made.

Employee of business on the 2s500 block of Rt. 59 reported unknown subject pumped $34.10 in gas and left without paying. Complainant had no plate information and video was unavailable at time of report.

Reported while on the 28100 block of Diehl Rd unknown offender took key, entered locked locker, and stole $35.00. Key had been turned in to lost and found.

Child Abuse

Resident of the 29w500 block of Country Ridge reported believing known subject is abusing child while complainant is at work. Child had inconsistent stories about what happened. DCFS was contacted.

Resident of the 2s600 block of Marie Curie Lane reported child was hit by the other parent and injury was caused to the child. Attorney for other parent contacted R/O and advised subject would be in for interview. DCFS was contacted.
