The United Sportsmen’s Youth Foundation, along with Rock Hollow Conservation Club, will be holding a fundraiser “Clays For Kids” on Satur­day, Aug. 29. This Sporting Clay Fun Five-Stand Flurry offers categories for coed, regular, and youth teams of five or single shooters.

Super Flurry—$500 per team, team of five, 500 targets. Canvasback Flurry—$100 per gun for single shoot­ers, 100 targets. Quail Flurry—$50 per gun for single and youth shooters, 50 targets (does not include lunch).

There is a morning (9:00 to noon) shoot and an afternoon (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.) shoot, as well as raffles and auctions.

This event will be held at Rock Hol­low in Freeport, IL. Reservations are re­quired. Registration deadline is Aug. 26.

Volunteers, shooters, and corporate team sponsors are needed. Proceeds benefit the United Sportsmen’s Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to purchase large tracts of habitat, provide and preserve multi­use habitat for children, teach chil­dren that personal involvement can positively impact wildlife and habitat, and works to unite sportsmen and communities. Donations are gra­ciously accepted.

Classes include stock touring, GT3, Tamiya mini, Slash/off road, TT01 Spec, TransAm, NASCAR Outlaw and any other class with at least three competitors.

There will be no drivers’ stand, but there will be a door prize drawing for the drivers at no charge.
