Dec. 7, 1931-July 27, 2011

Owen A. Richards, 79, passed away on July 27, 2011.

He leaves behind his wife Louise "Lou" (Schnabel-Kreminski) of 30 years; brother Jack (Sandra); children Linda (Ian) Innes, Scotland; sons, Judd (Lenor), Greg, Brad; stepsons Lee Kreminski, Steve (Anne) Kreminski, stepdaughter, Lynn Hoppenrath, daughter-in-law, Anna M. Richards; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, T. Howard Richards and Arline Udsted Richards.

Louise and Owen were married in 1981. When the county bought their home on River Road for flood control purposes, the Richards retired to Florida.

Louise, a co-founder of Al’s Pizza, speaks of Owen as a loving, devoted husband, "A true gentleman," who will always be in her heart.

A Memorial Service will be held in the near future at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Palmetto, Fla.
