If you are trying to escape from the bad news all around us and the searing heat, welcome to good news only. For the Warrenville Chamber of Commerce, it has been a month of great news.
One of our civic initiatives each year involves the presentation of Good Citizenship awards to 15 outstanding fifth graders, five each from Bower, Johnson and St Irene’s elementary schools. We are always proud to work with the schools to recognize and applaud our outstanding students. The students are recognized at a year-end assembly in their school and invited to walk with the Chamber of Commerce in the July 4 parade. The Good Citizenship Award winners were the ones passing out Summer Daze info and T Shirts to a lucky few.
Do they know you are out there? It is not a business without customers. Finding the right marketing to attract customers is always a hit or miss adventure for any business.
There are plenty of options. Phone book advertising, direct mail, newspaper and other traditional media play an important role, depending on your target customer.
We are presenting the event in partnership with the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce as we have in the past to provide more opportunities to get your message to a broader audience and play the beautiful Arrowhead Golf Club course.

What a Year! The economic downturn has affected all of our businesses, making us cut back in staff, services, etc. I hope that we have reached the bottom of this sliding decline.
Chamber continues to move forward. Some of the larger businesses have asked for a complete package for their membership. In response, we have created a Diamond Membership.
The price of the membership entitles the Diamond Member to 12 E-Blasts, a Logo on our letterhead and website, eight golf-outing tickets, sponsorship for two events, two tickets for each of the 12 monthly luncheons, a pair of tickets for the Anniversary Dinner, greeter service and newspaper recognition.
