Musselman Building. Building has been razed, and the site is awaiting development when the real estate market rebounds; this is a potential multi-family residential site, as part of a “downtown” for Warrenville.

Community Building. The building is still undergoing rehab construction to strengthen the first floor and roof-truss systems. It will return to community service and continue to be managed and programmed by the park district; the city may yet transfer ownership to the park district once the state of the building is determined.

Downtown? Which one? The Musselman building removal (see above) will focus on the city’s campus near the city hall, library, park district, Community Building and police department; other commercial hubs exist in town, but space may not be as appropriate for a “town center.”
